The Timber 400 boot is made with 1000 denier Cordura upper with full-grain, waterproof leather. Cordura is the most durable textile material available for footwear. Cordura is easy to take care of, yet very resistant to abrasion, tears of punctures. It has the look and feel of cotton duck with the superior performance of nylon. It also features Thinsulate insulation which is the number one footwear insulation that is recognized by consumers three to one over the competition.

The PermaSeal waterproofing system is a new generation of waterproofing designed with comfort and breathability in mind. And the Power-Cat outsole has omni-traction gripping power for the toughest cold weather conditions. It has traction for up-hill and down-hill terrain, yet features a self cleaning outsole.
